Tessa J Fitzjohn curates and produces contemporary art projects that offer artists, clients and audiences an opportunity to reconsider place, perceptions and arouses curiosity through the encounter with art.

Tessa J Fitzjohn is a creative thinker and experienced arts producer, with a background in advising on national strategies for the individual artist, media development and international activity for two regions as a Visual Arts Officer for Arts Council England.

Over the last decade Tessa has developed projects from master plan and strategy through to successful delivery with world class artists, focused on strong concepts, designed to provide exceptional visitor engagement and project legacy.

Tessa’s approach is informed by her experience of managing an inclusive and high quality arts programme for LookAhead Housing and Care, a London based housing association that provides care and accommodation for medium to high risk homeless and vulnerable people across London and SE. Look Ahead recognized the value of embedding the arts into the development of all their housing often in partnership with arts organisations such as Whitechapel Gallery, Tate Modern, ENO, and South Hill Park, Bracknell.
